Qualities of a Good Travel Buddy

As an adult, you should know by now, that everyone is not going to be travel compatible with you. Below is my list of what a good travel buddy does.
1. Communicates the type of traveler they are-- adventurous, chill, planner, go with the flow, etc.
2. Is open to trying new things (food included-- no, I don't mean roaches or dog).
3. Is open to leaving your hotel/resort/Airbnb. It sounds silly, but some people want to just stay put-- even when they're in a new place.
4. Keeps the living space clean and neat.
5. Communicates any conditions that may cause you to want a separate room, beforehand. E.g., some people may snore very loudly, want to sleep with a light on all night, might be on the phone with bae till the wee hours of the morning, etc.
6. Communicates any dietary preferences and/or restrictions beforehand. Settle on restaurants in advance to make things easier on all parties.
7. Is a team player. Pull your weight when necessary. E.g. Provide input in decision-making; if one person is driving, the other should navigate; etc.
8. Is independent enough to go pee alone, or walk down the block to grab food if you're hungry (and the area is safe, of course).
9. Allows you to be a fully functioning adult with sense. If I'm attempting to do something that is COMPLETELY unsafe to the average Joe, that's a different story.
10. Does not block when cuties try to chat you up. Again, CHAT you up.
11. Takes great photos. No off-centered, barely capturing my good side, head chopped off, types of photos. Great photo reference: the ones I take of you.
12. Comes with enough coins to cover their own expenses for the trip.
13. Maintains a good balance of chill and fun.

LOL! Thanks for reading and commenting. I miss travel right now too.
I know I'm late but we all miss regular travel right about now! You captured it all my friend. They def need coins! 😂 balanced and to be open!
Thanks! LOL @ separate house though. At least you're upfront about those things.
Good blog! I am told I am a loud snorer. So I guess I would need a separate room or house depending on the day. Also, I am a horrible photographer so you don't want me snapping for you.
